Clinic Appointments
One-on-one care designed to help you move better, reduce pain, recover from injury, and return to the activities you enjoy. Sessions are performed on site at Felix Physical Therapy in Encinitas, CA.
Your care may include a combination of hands-on manual therapy, targeted exercises, movement assessment, mobility and strength training, injury prevention strategies, and education to support long-term recovery and performance. Each treatment plan is individualized based on your needs, lifestyle, and progress.
In-person visits are ideal for patients who benefit from direct guidance, manual treatment techniques, supervised exercise, and real-time movement correction in a comfortable and convenient setting.

Concierge Home Physical Therapy

Concierge home physical therapy provides one-on-one, personalized care delivered directly in the patient’s home or preferred setting. This model emphasizes individualized treatment with flexible scheduling without the constraints of a traditional clinic environment. Care is provided by a licensed physical therapist, allowing for focused attention, convenience, and treatment plans tailored to the patient’s specific goals, lifestyle, and environment. Examination and follow up appointments are 60 min.
Virtual Physical Therapy
$150 - Initial Examination and Follow-up Appointments (60 min)
$100 - Follow-up Appointment (30 min)
Virtual physical therapy (telehealth) delivers one-on-one care through secure video communication, allowing patients to receive evaluation, guidance, and treatment from a licensed physical therapist without needing to travel. Sessions focus on movement assessment, exercise instruction, education, and progressions tailored to the patient’s needs and environment. This approach offers flexibility and convenience while maintaining personalized care. Examinations are 60 min with option for either 60 min or 30 min follow ups.

Find a space where you can move and perform/interact with the therapist as needed. Depending on what you are focusing on with the PT, the space needed can vary.

No they are not. Per HIPPA compliance they are not recorded and treatment is streamed via the Jane App.

Typical Conditions and Services Provided
Fractures, Sprains, and Strains
Trauma or overuse injury leading to one of the above. Reach out to help determine if PT is the right step for you in your recovery.
Headaches/Jaw pain
TMJ dysfunctions or headaches. If you are recovering from a trauma please reach out to your MD to determine if you are ready for PT.
Strength and Conditioning
Josie is a strength and conditioning specialist and can provide programs to help you attain your goals safely and reduce injury.
Radiculopathies/Nerve pain
If you are experiencing shooting pain into your extremities or other related pain, a thorough examination from a skilled PT can help you determine the source and provide the best treatment plan for you.
Post Operative Care
Please consult with surgeon to determine if you are ready for PT. This could include post operative orthopedic care or other surgeries that have impacted your functional strength, mobility, and or balance.
Return to Sport Programming/Education
Whether you are returning to sport from injury or getting back into sport after a long break and want to prevent injury or reinjury, physical therapy is a great place to start.
Tendinopathies/Overuse Injuries
Overuse injuries that may develop from work, sport, poor ergonomics, etc. They can develop as a compensation from other areas of your body not working optimally. A thorough examination can help determine the source. Common areas: lateral or medial epicondylagia (tennis and golfer’s elbow), achilles tendinopathy, patellar tendinopathy (jumper’s knee).
Pain
This can refer to both chronic and or acute pain. Whether you recently just had an injury and dealing with acute inflammatory pain, or have long standing pain that you are having trouble determining the source of. PT can help determine the cause and help create a plan to help alleviate your pain.
EDS/Hypermobility Syndromes
Josie has worked closely with those with EDS and hypermobility syndromes for years. If you are struggling with determining how to help manage your EDS/hypermobility syndrome please reach out!
